For employers in Oman
We source and screen blue-collar and skilled workers in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Uzbekistan for companies in Muscat, Sohar, Duqm and across Oman. We check Omanisation and restricted professions before we start, prove every skill on video, and replace any worker within 90 days.
We'll reply within one business day with a quote for your positions.
What we do
We recruit blue-collar and skilled workers in five source countries and deliver them to construction, oil and gas services, manufacturing, logistics and facility companies in Oman.
Omanisation
Oman does not cap foreigners as a share of your staff. It works the other way round: a minimum share of Omani nationals by sector, and a list of professions closed to expatriates.
| Rule | What it means for hiring | Source |
|---|---|---|
| 207 professions restricted to Omanis | No new expat visas for these roles; existing permits run until expiry | Ministerial Decision 235/2022 |
| Phased additions 2025–2027 | More roles close each 1 January — mostly IT, analytical and administrative | Ministerial Decision 501/2024 |
| Sector Omanisation targets | Your quota of expat visas depends on your Omani headcount | Ministry of Labour; check current rate for your sector |
Skilled site trades such as welders, steel fixers and pipe fitters are not on the published restricted lists we reviewed. Supervisory, administrative, sales and some technician roles are — Decision 501/2024 added mechanical and electrical technicians. The Ministry also suspends new permits for some general-labour trades from time to time (Decision 452/2024 did so for six months from 1 September 2024). We check every job title against the current rules before we start — so a recruitment request does not end in a rejected labour clearance. Full list: Omanisation and restricted professions.
Source countries
| Country | Typical trades | Why |
|---|---|---|
| India | Welders (MIG/TIG/ARC), steel fixers, pipe fitters, heavy-equipment operators, heavy drivers | Deepest pool; our most developed recruiter network |
| Bangladesh | General construction labour, concrete and shuttering carpenters, packers, warehouse staff | Volume and consistency on repetitive operations |
| Sri Lanka | Finishing trades, hospitality, garment production | Part of the pool speaks English |
| Vietnam | Assembly, electronics, garment and food production | Lowest turnover of the countries we recruit in |
| Uzbekistan | Construction, logistics, facility services | Many candidates have prior work experience abroad |
Process
Trade, grade, headcount, salary, accommodation. We tell you which source country fits and what the sending country requires for your destination.
Before sourcing we check that the role is open to expatriates and how it affects your nationalisation targets. If it is not, we say so before you sign.
Through our own recruiters in the source country, not job-board CVs.
Phone interview, the skill shown on a work video, document and police-clearance checks.
Profiles with video; online interviews if you want them.
Contract attestation, emigration clearance where the sending country requires it (eMigrate in India, BMET in Bangladesh), medicals, flights. The visa and work permit in your country are filed by you or your licensed local partner.
Check-ins on day 7, 30 and 90. If a worker does not arrive, does not match the grade or leaves in the first three months, we replace them at no cost.
Why us
All costs sit with the employer — the Employer Pays Principle. A worker who borrowed to pay a recruiter leaves in month three; one who paid nothing stays.
Every blue-collar candidate films the work: a weld, a wall, a machine running. You see the grade before anyone books a ticket.
We work with partner agencies whose licence numbers are public in the sending country’s registry, and we give you those numbers.
No-show, wrong grade or resignation in the first three months — we replace at no extra cost.
FAQ
Skilled site trades such as welders, steel fixers and pipe fitters are not on the published restricted lists we reviewed. The lists cover mainly administrative, sales, supervisory and technician roles and, from 2025–2027, IT and analytical roles; some general-labour trades have also been under temporary permit suspensions. We check your exact job titles against Decisions 235/2022 and 501/2024 and any current suspension before sourcing.
No. The visa and work permit are filed by the employer or its licensed local partner, as local law requires. We do everything on the source-country side: sourcing, screening, contract attestation, emigration clearance where needed, medicals and flights. We say this upfront because an agency that promises to “handle everything” abroad without a local licence is the most common source of rejected visas.
The employer. We do not take recruitment fees from workers. It is the international standard (Employer Pays Principle) and also the practical one: indebted workers leave early, and replacing them costs more than the fee.
A shortlist with work videos in 48–72 hours. Arrival then depends on visa processing in your country and emigration clearance in the sending country — typically weeks, not months, for the Gulf. We give you the realistic range for your corridor before you sign.
Most recruitment agencies in Oman and Muscat forward CVs collected from job boards. For blue-collar hiring that is the weakest link: the CV says “welder, 6 years”, and the first weld shows otherwise. We select on a work video recorded by the candidate and checked by our recruiter in the source country.
The second filter is legal. Since Ministerial Decision 235/2022, 207 professions are restricted to Omani nationals, and Decision 501/2024 adds more every 1 January through 2027. A manpower agency that does not check this sends you candidates you cannot get a labour clearance for. We check first.
“Manpower supply” in Oman often means a local company that employs workers and hires them out. We are not that company: we recruit for you, and the workers join your sponsorship or that of your licensed local partner. If you need workers on someone else’s sponsorship, we can supply candidates to your manpower supply contractor in the same way.
